As active members of our community, we believe in our people, our culture, our products and maintaining a harmonious relationship with the environment.
We support the Alalay Foundation, which aims to socially reintegrate children and adolescents in highly vulnerable situations in Bolivia. Atix donates a percentage of all direct reservations made through our website, as well as a percentage of a select dish on the menu at Ona Restaurant to the Alalay Foundation.
We consciously use Bolivian materials. Our facade is clad with local Comanche stone and native Bolivian wood. The interior design of the hotel includes extensive use of Comanche stone, flagstone and native wood, as well as local leather and textiles. The majority of our furniture were produced by Bolivian artisans. Our exterior lights (north facade) are solar-powered.
Our culinary team and kitchen is run by Bolivian professionals. We prioritize the use of local produce in our food and beverage operations. We seek to support the daily efforts made by national producers and entrepreneurs.
We aim to reduce the unnecessary waste of water by raising awareness about the excessive use of this valuable resource. Our guests have the option to waive daily fresh towels in their rooms.
